B.Com Finance & Taxation I

The primary goal of the Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in Taxation and Finance is to increase the student's practical knowledge of the international financial environment and to create qualified and skilled finance professionals for the commercial world. India as a growing economy needs finance experts who have received the necessary training to be capable of addressing the demands of the corporate world through sound financial planning and strategic management. This programme, therefore, focuses on teaching students how to utilize critical thinking to identify business solutions, enabling them to explore the virtually limitless prospects in the financial sector. A skilled tax and finance specialist would be in charge of creating and managing an organization's financial strategy and might even help with national economic planning.

Course Overview

The programme consists of four English-language courses, two courses in additional languages, two complementary courses (banking and insurance, principles of business decisions), four optional courses for specializing in Finance and Taxation in the last four semesters, and one open course in addition to the 21 core courses in the Commerce discipline. To get the required number of credits, students must also complete a research project during their final semester.

English for Careers

The secret to success in today's competitive job market is good communication. In our country, English is the primary official language. Therefore, it's crucial for anyone hoping to stand out in the professional world to become fluent in this language. English for Careers addresses this issue by emphasizing English language skills for students who are about to enter the workforce while keeping in mind the varied contexts in which they are likely to be needed. English for Career will be better prepared to create and make presentations, participate actively in group discussions, and employ interpersonal skills to succeed in a competitive setting.

Applicable Mathematics

The goal is to prepare students from all streams, especially those with backgrounds in the arts and commerce, for their higher studies and competitive exams. Students should be given a thorough explanation of concepts as well as a quick fix for issues so they can develop their problem-solving abilities.  All inquiries should be of a level appropriate for arts students.
